  2. how do i make the extension of the text document to run.bat? i can rename it, but the icon doesn’t change or anything.

  3. Thank you for this! I got it to work and it removed the virus! I had trouble with creating the .bat file with windows 7 but realized that you need to create the txt file, don’t rename and don’t save. Open it, paste the software name into the file and then save as run.bat, using “All files” in the drop down.
    Looks like I’m problem free now!
