‘Računalnik je zaklenjen’ in Slovenian means “computer is locked”. The message that you see depicted below is a serious ransomware program that has nothing to do with Polizia Slovena (Slovenian Police). Hackers have developed this malware specifically in order to scare and trick Slovenian users into believing they’ve committed something wrong while using their computers. In particular, the ransomware accuses residents of Slovenia of performing the following illegal activities through their PCs:

Polizia Slovena virus

This ransomware infection functions in the form of a special desktop (screen) locker that completely disables the computer and its keyboard, without rendering a chance to use the system in a fully functional mode. Any attempts to reboot the PC turn out to be completely vain, irrespective of the number of reboot attempts.

The ransomware comes up as a fake Slovenian police warning that accuses users of committing various crimes online through application of their machines, thus supposedly explaining the reasons for the locked status of the computer. This fake police warning instructs users to pay the release fee (ransom) to have the computer unlocked within 48 hours. Failure to do so, according to the scary message, will result in a criminal case being initiated against the supposed violator of the Slovenian law.

The truth we know about this Polizia Slovena virus is that it has nothing to do with this decent and reputable law enforcement organization. It is the direct product of cyber hackers who want to earn money through unfair methods. You should disregard the contents of this scam and immediately get rid of this malware to prevent more serious infections to attack your PC. Below please follow the removal guidelines that will help you eliminate this scam effectively from your computer.
