Dr. Guard is a rogue antivirus clone of Paladin Antivirus. This fake tool installed itself through various trojans and uses aggressive techniques to protect itself from removal. Once downloaded and installed, Dr. Guard will attempt to uninstall various security applications in order to protect itself from being removed. Dr. Guard will scan your computer and then display a variety of false infections. It will not, though, allow you to remove any of these infections without first purchasing the program.
